About the Role
Allegion Access Technologies is seeking an S&OP Leader to architect and lead the monthly Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) cycle for the AAT platform. This role ensures cross-functional alignment, demand accuracy, and supply chain optimization across manufacturing and branch networks.
Responsibilities
- Monthly SIOP Execution & Demand Planning (60%)
- Architect and lead the monthly SIOP cycle for the AAT platform, including preparing demand files, presenting forecast recommendations, facilitating demand review meetings, and driving consensus.
- Analyze demand patterns, internal CRM data, and external market data to create demand forecast recommendations.
- Unify demand signals from field branches with centralized manufacturing expectations to establish a single source of truth.
- Partner with Product Managers and General Managers to align on forecast changes, including new product launches and product lifecycle adjustments.
- Lead and facilitate monthly demand meetings for each product or customer subset, manage follow-ups, and escalate issues as needed.
- Lead the monthly SIOP partnership meeting with senior leadership (e.g., Sales VPs, General Managers, GSC VP) to review demand changes and facilitate escalation decisions.
- Partner with the finance team to incorporate price/cost adjustments and evaluate financial implications of demand changes.
- Supply Planning & Distribution Guidance (20%)
- Release forecast revisions to manufacturing plants and branch operations, providing clear rationale for changes and collaborating to verify accuracy.
- Partner with production planning teams, commercial leaders, and procurement to prioritize volumes and resolve conflicts in constrained scenarios.
- Define and provide guidance on inventory planning across the AAT network, including branch-level and distribution center policies (safety stock methodology, re-order points, min/max, replenishment strategies).
- Systems, Data, & Report Management (10%)
- Serve as the primary SME for SIOP within the portfolio, supporting Plants, Product Managers, General Managers, Finance, and Sales.
- Act as the Demand Planning Tool SME, Sales Cube SME, and CRM SME, working with IT and other teams on issues and support.
- Design and manage business requirements for AAT SIOP Dashboards and forecast tool configuration (e.g., Forecast Analysis, Monthly Attainment).
- Set up and manage SIOP codes in ERP cross-reference tables.
- Ensure product families are correctly identified as Forecasted/Not Forecasted and manage ProExpress/Distribution item-level forecasting.
- Continuous Improvement & Strategic Support (10%)
- Own the AAT SIOP process definition and documentation (the Playbook) and lead Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives.
- Manage ERP transitions to ensure they meet AAT’s SIOP requirements and implement M&A transitions into the SIOP process.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) requirements, including meetings, setups, and forecast verification.
- Own SIOP slides for the Monthly Operating Review (MOR).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or other quantitative field.
- 7-10 years of experience in SIOP/S&OP, supply chain management, sales, or demand planning.
- Experience working with ERP & MRP systems.
- Excellent leadership and collaboration skills, with experience influencing cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage complex data sets and dashboards.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex concepts into actionable insights.
- 25% domestic travel required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with forecasting tools or libraries and/or enterprise planning platforms.
- Experience communicating complex models to cross-functional audiences.
