About the role
Seasons is seeking an experienced and compassionate Alcohol and Drug Counselor to join their Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team. ACT is an innovative, evidence-based outpatient program serving adults with severe and persistent mental illness (SPMI).
Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Cook up and coordinate services to support client recovery and stability
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary, community-based team
- Provide comprehensive, person-centered care
- Collaborate with the team to ensure a supportive environment
- Communicate effectively with clients and their families
- Implement evidence-based practices
Requirements
- Must hold an independent Iowa alcohol and drug counselor certification (CADC, IADC, or IAADC)
- Must have at least three years of experience providing treatment to individuals with substance abuse disorders
- A valid driver's license is required due to travel requirements
- Bilingual candidates are preferred but not required

Pay and Schedule
The pay range for this position is $22.00-$26.00 per hour, depending on years of experience, education, and license level. The schedule is Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm plus 1 week on-call every 4 weeks.
