Alcohol and Drug Counselor-ACT Program
About the role
Seasons is seeking an experienced and compassionate Alcohol and Drug Counselor to join their Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team. The ACT program serves adults with severe and persistent mental illness (SPMI) and provides comprehensive, person-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Cook up and coordinate services to support client recovery and stability
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary, community-based team
- Provide care in a highly team-oriented environment
- Have excellent communication and clinical skills
Requirements
- Must hold an independent Iowa alcohol and drug counselor certification (CADC, IADC, or IAADC) or an equivalent certification from another state
- At least three years of experience providing treatment to individuals with substance abuse disorders
- A valid driver’s license due to travel requirements
- Bilingual candidates are preferred but not required

Pay and Schedule
The pay range is $22.00-$26.00 per hour, depending on years of experience, education, and license level. The schedule is Monday-Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm, plus 1 week on-call every 4 weeks.
