Alcohol and Drug Counselor-ACT Program

About the role
Seasons is seeking an experienced and compassionate Alcohol and Drug Counselor to join our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team. ACT is an innovative, evidence-based outpatient program serving adults with severe and persistent mental illness (SPMI). In this role, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary, community-based team to provide comprehensive, person-centered care. The ACT program is highly team oriented, so our ideal candidate values a collaborative approach to care and has excellent communication and clinical skills.
Responsibilities
- Conducting assessments
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Coordinating services to support client recovery and stability
Requirements
- Must hold an independent Iowa alcohol and drug counselor certification (CADC, IADC, or IAADC) or an equivalent certification from another state
- At least three years of experience providing treatment to individuals with substance abuse disorders
- Valid driver's license (this position requires travel)
Bilingual candidates are preferred but not required.

Pay
$22.00-$26.00 per hour (depending on years of experience, education, and license level)
Schedule
Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm plus 1 week on-call every 4 weeks
Location
Could be based in Spencer, IA, Sioux Center, IA, or Sheldon, IA.
