Job Responsibilities
- Installation of fire alarm systems in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings
- Service, troubleshoot, and repair fire alarm systems and related equipment
- Oversee, direct, and delegate tasks to meet project deadlines and goals
- Accurately complete and process paperwork and electronic forms
- Ensure compliance with manufacturer requirements for equipment installation
- Conduct and coordinate necessary system testing
- Complete required certifications
- Instruct and train helpers, apprentices, or other personnel
- Maintain inventory on service vehicle
- Perform other duties as assigned
Expectations

- Follow safety protocols, including completing JSAs, Toolbox Talks, and audits
- Report incidents and accidents promptly and accurately
- Accountability for safety initiatives and safe driving
- Submit accurate timesheets and ensure proper inventory management
- Support adherence to company SOPs and maintain a professional appearance
- Communicate effectively and professionally with colleagues and customers
- Participate in team meetings and demonstrate positive interactions
- Work overtime, out of town, or on-call as needed
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Forklift and scissor lift certification, preferred
- FAL certification
- Understanding of NFPA codes and standards
Skills and Competencies
- Ability to take direction from upper management
- Accuracy in completing and maintaining paperwork
- Vehicle and tool maintenance according to company policy
- Valid state driver's license and good driving record
- Self-motivation, ambition, interaction, communication, attention to detail, and organization
- Knowledge of NFPA 72 rules and necessary codes
- Professional and positive communication skills
- Positive teamwork and leadership abilities
- Compliance with company safety practices and the safety handbook
- Timely project completion and high-quality work
