Ala Carte Bartender

Primary Responsibilities

• Stocks all liquor as it arrives.
• Inspects the bar prior to opening to ensure adequate supplies are available.
• Stocks all glasses and checks that they are clean.
• Requests additional supplies as necessary.
• Follows set-up procedures.
• Prepares garnishes, mixes and pre-mixed drinks.
• Greets guests.
• Mixes, prepares and serves drinks according to the recipes approved by the Beverage Manager.
• Collections checks/payment for drinks served.
• Reports complaints to a manager as soon as they occur.
• Maintains and cleans equipment.
• Maintains the proper storage and cleanliness standards for the wine cellar or other holding area(s).
• Ensures liquors, beers, wine, tobacco and sundries are at par stock levels.
• Cleans and locks up according to prescribed procedures.
• Performs liquor inventory at the end of every month or as deemed necessary by the manager.
• Ensures all preparation and closing duties are performed according to the published checklist and company standards.
• Stays current with company policies and procedures.
• Ensures the POS system is operational and accurate at all times.
• Reports on time and in proper uniform.
• Balances cash at end of shift/day.
• Adheres to ABC regulations regarding service and handling of alcohol.
• Affords assistance in maintaining an attractive and orderly clubhouse.
• Ensures proper stocking and posted side work duties.
• Possesses a solid understanding of the golf club environment.
• Background in Food & Beverage.
