About the role

Responsibilities

  • Review new account documents and disclosures according to established procedures and service standards.
  • Ensure customers are identified according to CIP/BSA/AML policies and procedures.
  • Cover accounts and open them accurately.
  • Communicate promptly and clearly to resolve NIGO work items.
  • Submit documents to vendors as necessary to avoid delays.
  • Process maintenance and service requests accurately and timely.
  • Provide exceptional support and service to front-office colleagues.
  • Respond promptly and accurately to inquiries from front-office colleagues.
  • Review and release/reject trades in a timely manner.
  • Review and resolve trade exceptions, money movement rejects, and check deposits.
  • Record checks and securities accurately in the system for reporting.
  • Follow-up on new accounts to ensure accuracy and funding.
  • Create and submit incident tickets for system issues.
  • Run exception reports and clear or report them as appropriate.
  • Draft and update functional desk-top procedures.

Requirements

  • Education: Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in Financial Services.
  • Experience: 1-3 years in Financial Services, 3-5 years in Brokerage preferred.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Series 7-Stockbroker Exam within 2 years, Series 66 License within 2 years preferred.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Knowledge of financial services and regulations.
  • Proficiency in using financial software and systems.
