Airport Valet Attendant

Part-time weekend positions available. Shifts: 4am-12pm, 12pm-8pm, 2pm-10pm, 12pm-10pm.

Pay

$10.00/hr + cash tips and credit card tips. On average, hourly rate + tips = estimated $16-$20/hr.

About the Role

A LAZ Valet Attendant plays a significant role in the success of the company. They are the first and last person clients and customers interact with, so a warm welcome, smiling face, and professional demeanor are essential.

Responsibilities

• Park and retrieve cars carefully, efficiently, and in a timely manner
• Greet all customers and develop rapport with each person driving up to your stand
• Help direct traffic to maintain a clean and organized flow of cars
• Work with or without supervision, demonstrating a self-reliant attitude
• Promote excellent customer relations by going above and beyond to make customers love LAZ Parking

Qualifications

You are:

• Good under pressure and thrive in chaotic situations
• A strong communicator with the ability to speak, read, and comprehend English easily
• A team player who is open to different opinions and can motivate others
• Able to communicate professionally and effectively
• Willing to be flexible and work at multiple facility locations
• Able to handle challenging and emotionally charged situations
• Able to work unsupervised
• Demonstrates a sense of urgency and timeliness
• Possesses excellent team-building and interpersonal skills

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Valid driver’s license with 2 or more years of driving experience
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays (preferred)

Physical Demands

• Willingness to work in various weather conditions (heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.)
• Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 25 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, and run for extended periods
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat, and lift frequently throughout a shift
