As an Airport Security Officer- Patrol in Kailua Kona, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic government transportation location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support travelers and staff with outstanding customer service and communication.

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
• 1+ years of Security Experience
• 21+ years of age
• Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, and airport personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and help to coordinate with airport staff and public agencies when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, exterior walkways, parking areas, and perimeter locations, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, report unusual activity, and help to deter unauthorized entry or policy violations in accordance with location procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and/or daily activities in required reports, and communicate clearly with supervisors, local authorities, and site contacts regarding security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
