Airport Security Officer: Full Time, Computer Assisted Patrol

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy airport location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to travelers, visitors, and staff. You will communicate clearly, respond to security-related concerns, and support a welcoming environment while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, people-first culture with teamwork and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, airport personnel, and other stakeholders by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of airport facilities, terminals, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas, with working environments and conditions varying by assignment.
• Monitor for and report suspicious activity, unauthorized access, hazards, and policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and coordinating with airport operations and public agencies as needed.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and required documentation in accordance with site-specific procedures.

Requirements

• 18+ years of age.
• Valid driver’s license (for driving positions only).
• Ability to use computers — basic computer knowledge.
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.

Pay

$24.25 per hour

• Friday: 07:30 AM - 04:00 PM
• Saturday: 05:00 AM - 01:30 PM
• Sunday: 05:00 AM - 01:30 PM
