Airport Security Officer: Full Time Patrol

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for travelers, employees, and visitors. You will respond to security-related concerns, communicate professionally, and use technology to document activities. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of airport terminals, parking areas, access points, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, check credentials as directed, and report suspicious activity, hazards, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established airport and site response procedures.
• Prepare accurate activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and/or concerns to Allied Universal leadership and designated site contacts.

Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License (+1 years)
• 1+ years of Security Experience
• 21+ years of age
• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
• Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
• Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office
• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred)
• Be able to lift up to 20 pounds (preferred)
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent

$26.50 / Hour

• Monday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Friday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Saturday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sunday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
