Airport Security Officer: Full Time Patrol

About the role
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer supporting a government aviation location, you will conduct routine patrols of assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide professional customer service to travelers, staff, and visitors. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, tenants, and airport personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of terminals, parking areas, perimeter locations, and other assigned airport facilities to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points, restricted areas, and perimeter gates; verify credentials and report unauthorized access attempts or irregular conditions in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with airport operations, law enforcement, and emergency personnel as directed.
- Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and promptly using required reporting tools.
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
- 1+ years of Airport Security Experience
- 21+ years of age
- Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
- Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
- Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office
- A Guard Card/License is preferred
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent

$25.25 / Hour

- Wednesday: 05:30 AM - 02:00 PM
- Thursday: 05:30 AM - 02:00 PM
- Friday: 05:30 AM - 02:00 PM
- Saturday: 05:30 AM - 02:00 PM
