Airport Agent - BTM

Primary Job Duties

• Load and unload customer luggage, airfreight, and company mail onto and off aircraft
• Greet passengers, issue tickets, provide seat assignments, check baggage, board flights, assist customers who arrive without their luggage, and rebook passengers, all in a prompt and friendly manner
• Escort passengers and customers with special needs safely and courteously
• Marshal aircraft in and out of the ramp area
• Service aircraft as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

• 18 years of age or older
• Possess a valid, unrestricted, state-issued driver’s license
• Have a High School Diploma or GED
• Pass a background check and drug screening
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Have basic knowledge of fundamental computer programs for record-keeping and baggage routing
• Lift 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
• Be adaptable to changing priorities and effective in time management
• Have strong teamwork and collaboration skills

Physical And Other Requirements

• Attend and successfully complete 14 days of initial training within the first six months of employment
• This is not a Department of Transportation safety-sensitive position
