Airline Customer Service & Ramp Agent

About the role

The positions available are part-time roles for Airline Customer Service and Ramp Service at Trego Dugan Aviation at the Garden City Regional Airport. Starting wage is $15.50 per hour. Applicants must have a valid driver's license and pass a 10-year background check and pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

• Ramp Operations Agent:
• Handle customer luggage, load/unload baggage, operate ground service equipment, marshal aircraft, service aircraft lavatories, ensure ramp safety, and report safety hazards.
• Customer Service Agent:
• Process customer tickets, check baggage, monitor carry-on baggage, assign seats, handle denied boarding, enforce safety measures, assist special needs customers, and provide hotel/meal/taxi vouchers.
• Commissary Agent:
• Drive catering truck, load/unload catering, prepare food/beverage carts, maintain storeroom facilities, rotate and date products, and assist ground operations agents.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• Able to read and write English.
• Able to work in a high-pressure environment.
• Able to carry 70-pound suitcases and perform repetitive tasks.
• Sufficient vision and physical dexterity to perform essential functions.

Qualifications

• Pass a 10-year background check and pre-employment drug test.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. as defined in the Immigration Act of 1986.

Skills

• Two-way radio communication.
• Attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
• Physical stamina and strength.
