Airfreight Export Coordinator

About the Role

Coordinate international air export shipments from pickup through final billing. Ensure compliance with export regulations, including AES filings, Denied Party Screening, and Hazmat requirements. Prepare and manage shipping documentation, airway bills, and customs-related documents. Monitor shipment progress, resolve service issues, and proactively communicate with customers and vendors. Process customer billing, validate charges, and support accounts payable resolution. Review shipment profitability and escalate exceptions as needed. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely execution and exceptional customer service.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in airfreight, freight forwarding, logistics, or transportation
• Knowledge of export documentation, AES filings, Incoterms, and international shipping processes
• Current Dangerous Goods certification
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Customer-focused mindset with excellent communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple shipments in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• High School Diploma or GED required

Preferred Qualifications

• 2-3 years experience handling healthcare airfreight shipments
• Experience with Pharma temp control product
• Associate Degree preferred
