About The Role
Our client is seeking a certified A&P Mechanic to join its growing General Aviation maintenance team. This is a hands-on role for someone who values quality workmanship, continuous improvement, and being part of a collaborative team. Enjoy a regular weekly schedule with weekends and holidays off while working close to home.
Key Responsibilities
- Report directly to the Shop Supervisor
- Perform aircraft maintenance in accordance with established guidance and timelines
- Conduct 100-hour/annual inspections, repairs, maintenance, and installations
- Mentor apprentices as needed
- Maintain detailed and accurate work orders in Quantum MX software
- Maintain training logbook
- Ensure shop cleanliness and organization
- Participate in company meetings
- Communicate effectively via verbal updates, email, and Slack
- Use company systems including G-Suite, Slack, AD Toolbox, Quantum MX, Zoom, and Google Calendar
- Perform additional assigned duties
Requirements
- Certified A&P License (Airframe & Powerplant)
- Minimum 1+ year experience in General Aviation
- No history of license infractions
- Must provide own tools and laptop
- Able to bend, squat, and work in tight spaces for extended periods
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Must pass background check, reference checks, and drug test
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with small reciprocating aircraft
- Familiarity with maintenance tracking programs
- Strong computer proficiency (word processing, spreadsheets, aviation software)
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary commensurate with experience (Tier-based skill evaluation)
- Scheduled pay increases at 90 and 180 days
