About The Role

Our client is seeking a certified A&P Mechanic to join its growing General Aviation maintenance team. This is a hands-on role for someone who values quality workmanship, continuous improvement, and being part of a collaborative team. Enjoy a regular weekly schedule with weekends and holidays off while working close to home.

Key Responsibilities

  • Report directly to the Shop Supervisor
  • Perform aircraft maintenance in accordance with established guidance and timelines
  • Conduct 100-hour/annual inspections, repairs, maintenance, and installations
  • Mentor apprentices as needed
  • Maintain detailed and accurate work orders in Quantum MX software
  • Maintain training logbook
  • Ensure shop cleanliness and organization
  • Participate in company meetings
  • Communicate effectively via verbal updates, email, and Slack
  • Use company systems including G-Suite, Slack, AD Toolbox, Quantum MX, Zoom, and Google Calendar
  • Perform additional assigned duties

Requirements

  • Certified A&P License (Airframe & Powerplant)
  • Minimum 1+ year experience in General Aviation
  • No history of license infractions
  • Must provide own tools and laptop
  • Able to bend, squat, and work in tight spaces for extended periods
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Must pass background check, reference checks, and drug test

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with small reciprocating aircraft
  • Familiarity with maintenance tracking programs
  • Strong computer proficiency (word processing, spreadsheets, aviation software)

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary commensurate with experience (Tier-based skill evaluation)
  • Scheduled pay increases at 90 and 180 days
