About the role
SkyWest is seeking A&P Mechanics to join their fast-paced, varied environment. New mechanics in Milwaukee, Chicago, and Salt Lake City qualify for a $10,000 bonus after three years. Military A&P experience also qualifies for an additional $7,500 bonus.
Primary Job Duties
- Work on the entire aircraft
- Troubleshoot all aircraft systems
- Make critical decisions regarding aircraft safety
- Perform all maintenance functions unsupervised
- Manage all documentation and paperwork
Minimum Requirements
- Valid FAA-issued A&P Certificate
- Good troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Problem-solving and organizational skills
- Willingness to work night/third shift positions
Physical and Other Requirements
- At least 18 years old
- Valid, unrestricted driver's license
- Ability to read, write, and understand English
- Comfortable lifting 60 lbs. routinely
