To continue our standard of excellence, Piedmont is seeking a motivated, reliable professional to join our team as an Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic. This position is responsible for completing routine inspections and repairs; performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance; and running tests after making repairs. This position reports to the Manager, Aircraft Maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Complete and document routine inspections and repairs
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance; may include, but is not limited to, engines, landing gear, exteriors, brakes, and pumps
• Conduct tests after making repairs or performing maintenance on company fleet

Requirements

• Possession of FAA Airframe and Powerplant certification and company issued licenses
• Demonstration of a positive attitude towards productivity and quality maintenance
• Valid driver’s license and clear driving record
• Ability to pass a 10-year Criminal History Records Check
• Ability to pass a drug screen as required
• Proof of high school or GED completion
• Minimum 18 years of age

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous background and/or experience in mechanical operations

Work Environment

• Use of computers and other office equipment
• Airport ramp and warehouse environment, subject to varied weather conditions and elevated noise levels
• Available to work any shift including nights, weekends, and holidays

Physical Requirements

• Frequent stooping, bending, kneeling, walking, standing, reaching, lifting, climbing up and down stairs
• Handle objects up to 70 pounds regularly, up to 100+ pounds occasionally with assistance from coworkers or tools

Pay

Starting Rate $30.13/Hourly. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer bonuses awarded in accordance with company policies and applicable criteria.
