This role is for a hands-on Aircraft Systems Mechanic Level 4 within our E-2D Manufacturing and Production Organization, located on site in Saint Augustine, Florida. We seek individuals with great attention to detail, a focus on quality, and the ability to interface with multiple teams. Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and service aircraft and engine systems.
• Perform flight control rigging.
• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Assemble and install hydraulic systems.
• Conduct diagnosis of malfunctions.
• Perform maintenance, disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, re-assembly, or adjustment of various aircraft systems in accordance with technical specifications and engineering instructions.
• Obtain half & full-face respirator certification.
• Use manufacturing shop controls and systems daily.
• Use appropriate PPE when working on the shop floor.
• Recommend and implement continuous improvement activities in production methods, equipment performance, and team effectiveness.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED and 6 years' experience with engine/hydraulic parts, assemblies, components, and systems in an aerospace, automotive, military, manufacturing, and/or maintenance environment.
• Ability to perform moderate strenuous physical and repetitious work, including bending, stooping, kneeling, lifting up to 25 pounds, and working overhead.
• Ability to access small, confined spaces and work in an enclosed environment.
• Pass Medical/respiratory evaluation to obtain and maintain necessary respirator clearance and comply with all respirator fitting requirements.
• Ability to work any work schedule.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret DOD clearance in a reasonable amount of time as required by the business.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on or around operational aircraft.
• Flight control rigging with E-2D experience.
• Cabin pressurization testing experience.

Pay

Primary Level Salary Range: $68,300.00 - $113,900.00. The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers, such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
