About the Role

As the Aircraft Records Specialist, you will perform multi-level scheduling of maintenance for assigned aircraft and associated assets in accordance with applicable instructions, technical orders, and commercial maintenance programs. This role develops logistics scheduling documents and supports Dynamic Aviation remote bases and the corporate maintenance office across multiple aircraft types.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate maintenance programs with program managers, planning, customers, and other departments to ensure on-time input/return of aircraft from heavy maintenance.
• Develop and schedule inspection and work packages for major, intermediate-level, and scheduled inspections in the ERP system.
• Ensure logbook entries are completed accurately and efficiently, then presented to quality control.
• Develop operational and maintenance scheduling requirements for all assigned aircraft and engines into short- and long-range plans (quarterly, monthly, weekly, and daily), forecasting known requirements to meet scheduled maintenance and inspection needs.
• Update and coordinate daily and weekly maintenance schedules; conduct aircraft record reviews and maintain historical records in accordance with applicable instructions.
• Perform configuration management; validate suspense and verify correct parts are installed in the proper configuration on assigned aircraft.
• Manage, track, and coordinate the airworthiness directive (AD) and service bulletin (SB) programs.
• Provide technical operations with aircraft maintenance paperwork using the MS Office suite.
• Extract aircraft data from historical records to baseline aircraft maintenance for senior leadership.
• Manage all aircraft records in accordance with CFR 43.9, Dynamic Aviation’s 145 Repair Station Manuals, and AS9100D.
• Maintain and review aircraft logbooks; receive, transfer, inspect, file, and update active and inactive historical documents for assigned aircraft.
• Research life-limited parts data to establish times on aircraft parts and enter data into the current ERP system.
• Verify correct flying hour data is accounted for and updated in the ERP system.
• Maintain aircraft-specific technical manuals, publications, and reference libraries.
• Manage subscriptions and access to aviation maintenance documentation and technical data systems.
• Coordinate updates and distribution of technical publications to support regulatory compliance and operational readiness.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Strong oral and written communication skills, capable of working in a dynamic maintenance scheduling environment.
• Ability to work effectively with complex details and high attention to detail.
• Proficiency with the MS Office suite, particularly Excel.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math calculations.
• Ability to recognize process or equipment deviations from expected performance or output.
• Ability to fully understand manufacturer’s maintenance programs and translate them to our fleet of aircraft.
• Passport or work authorization to work in the U.S.

Working Conditions

• Monday–Friday, hours are either 7:00 AM–4:00 PM or 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing, writing, and operating office equipment.
• Ability to view computer screens for extended periods, with close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Pay

Pay Band: $16.08–$25.96 per hour. Starting pay is determined by experience, qualifications, and internal equity, and typically falls between the minimum and midpoint of the pay range.
