Responsibilities
- Plan, manage, and document maintenance actions, including flight line operations and aircraft movement.
- Operate and inspect support equipment (SE) and perform aircraft inspections.
- Perform corrosion control, painting, troubleshooting, preservation/de-preservation, and general aircraft maintenance.
- Execute Technical Directive (TD) compliance and modifications; serve as TD Program Coordinator.
- Support material control and supply management.
- Maintain and adhere to programs including: Hydraulic Contamination Control, Tire & Wheel Maintenance Safety, FOD Prevention, Tool Control, Corrosion Prevention, SE Operator Training, NAMP Compliance Audit, Hazardous Material Control, METCAL, NOAP, Compass Calibration, Aircraft Confined Space Program, Engine/APU Turn-Up Licensing, and more.
- Inspect, disassemble, repair, service, and maintain aircraft systems, including airframe, landing gear, hydraulic/pneumatic, fuel/air, power plant, environmental control, rotor, transmission drive, electrical/power distribution, avionics, weapons control, and associated systems.
- Certify aircraft safe for flight per T/M/S series instructions.
- Support duties as Collateral Duty Quality Assurance Representative (CDQAR) and Collateral Duty Inspector (CDI) for airframes, power plants, avionics, and electrical systems.
Qualifications
- Minimum experience in MV-22B O-Level and/or D-Level maintenance required.
- Active Secret Clearance required.
- Demonstrated experience in aircraft maintenance, including engines, sheet metal, structural, hydraulic, electrical, powertrain, or general mechanical systems.
- Experience with disassembly, inspection, repair, replacement, reassembly, and installation of aircraft components.
- Knowledge of FAA technical standards (licensing not required).
- Ability to supervise aircraft jacking, towing, and maintenance operations.
- Skilled in documenting maintenance actions and verifying completion of work.
- Proficiency in hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment such as shears, sheet metal brakes, welding equipment, rivet guns, and drills.
- Must meet all required certifications, including Plane Captain, Tire & Wheel, Hydraulic Contamination, Engine/APU Operators, and others as assigned.
