Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled I-Level maintenance on T56-A-16 series engines and modules, including PSA, RGA, T/M, and TUCA.
- Conduct complete teardown and build-up of engines and engine modules (Fort Worth only).
- Support 700-hour Minor Depot Inspections (MDI).
- Perform corrosion control, troubleshooting, inspections, cowling structural repair, and preservation/de-preservation.
- Document maintenance activities through electronic and manual logs and records.
- Comply with all applicable technical directives and CNAFINST 4790.2 series programs.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years specialized experience in C/KC-130T T56 Series repair and airframe depot artisan-level work.
- ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE REQUIRED
- Proven experience in:
- Engine and module-level maintenance, teardown, and rebuild.
- Structural, pneudraulic, and general aircraft systems troubleshooting.
- Using technical manuals and bulletins for aircraft engine repair.
- Must hold (or obtain upon hire) qualifications/licenses including:
- Overhead Crane Operator Qualification
- CDI/CDQAR (Collateral Duty Inspector/Quality Assurance Rep) for Power Plants
- Forklift and Crane Operation Licenses
- Support Equipment Licenses
Preferred Experience
- QEC (Quick Engine Change) assembly repair.
- Experience with the following Navy maintenance programs:
- Tool Control
- Corrosion Control
- Fuel Surveillance
- Foreign Object Damage (FOD) Prevention
- Oil Analysis (NOAP)
- Hazardous Material Management
