About the Role
ConocoPhillips Aviation is seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Technician to safely perform routine and non-routine maintenance on company Gulfstream cabin aircraft. This role combines technical maintenance responsibilities with flight technician and aft cabin duties, supporting both ground operations and domestic and international flight operations.
Responsibilities
- Complete routine and non-routine maintenance of company aircraft, including Gulfstream G500/600 and Embraer ERJ-145, in accordance with Aircraft Technical Data and Aircraft Manufacturer Specifications.
- Ensure company aircraft are airworthy, maintained to the highest mechanical condition, cleaned, and positioned for departures.
- Launch and recover aircraft, perform preflight and post-flight checks, brief crewmembers, resolve discrepancies, assist passengers, and ensure aircraft ground handling follows company procedures.
- Keep the Director of Maintenance informed of all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance events.
- Enter discrepancies and corrective actions in aircraft permanent records per FAR 91.417 and Part 125.
- Perform aircraft towing, fueling, de-fueling, and cleaning (exterior and interior).
- Maintain the hangar, shops, tools, and specialty equipment; all tools are provided.
- Maintain working knowledge of procedures, parts, and tools needed for inspections, maintenance, and repair on company aircraft.
- Inspect incoming parts, including documentation and physical condition.
- Perform engine runs and aircraft taxi tests when designated.
- Order parts for current and upcoming maintenance events.
- Remain current with Manufacturer’s maintenance manuals, Corporate Maintenance/Flight Operations Manual, Global Aviation’s GMM, and all Federal Aviation Regulations.
- Lead or participate in special projects to enhance individual capability and improve department operations.
- Maintain aircraft records, safety forms, regulatory compliance items, and other documentation using Computerized Maintenance Programs.
- Serve as a Flight Technician on domestic and international trips (preferred).
- Perform Flight Technician duties, including safety briefings, catering preparation, food service, and executive passenger services (preferred).
Requirements
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Valid FAA Airframe and Power Plant Certificate.
- Five or more years of aviation maintenance and return-to-service experience.
- Willing and able (with or without reasonable accommodation) to travel 75% of the time annually.
- Willing and able (with or without reasonable accommodation) to work evenings, holidays, and weekends to meet flight schedules.
- Willing and able (with or without reasonable accommodation) to:
- Lift a stationary weight of 50 lbs from bench level to a shelf 18 inches above bench level.
- Climb heights to work from scissor lifts, stands, and ladders.
- Work outside in harsh weather conditions.
- Be exposed to high noise levels during aircraft engine operations (hearing protection provided).
Preferred Qualifications
- FAA Part 25 aircraft maintenance experience, including Gulfstream G600 and Embraer ERJ145.
- Experience serving as a Flight Technician on domestic and international trips.
- Experience performing Flight Technician duties, such as safety briefings, catering preparation, food service, and executive passenger services.
