About the role
This position is available at one of our Fleet or Service Hubs and involves working on some of the most sophisticated private aircraft in the world. Duties include the removal and installation of carpeting, insulation, soundproofing, and fabric accessories; various amounts of parts replacement and repair; basic electrical system installation; modifications; refurbishments; and general mechanical applications on aircraft interiors.
Responsibilities
- Perform general mechanical tasks on aircraft interiors and related systems.
- Perform troubleshooting and repairs on damaged or worn interior components.
- Make minor modifications to panels, seats, carpets, cabinetry, upholstery, etc.
- Measure, cut, and fit materials such as leather, fabric, and composites for interior refurbishments.
- Aircraft detailing and cleaning.
- Maintain and repair the shop facility, equipment, and tooling.
- Demonstrate basic computer skills to navigate electronic training materials, manuals, and maintenance databases.
- Ensure cleanliness of the shop and surrounding areas.
- Work independently when required.
- Effectively and clearly communicate (i.e., speaking, writing, reading) in English.
- Perform any other job-related duties as assigned by a supervisor or management.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- A valid driver’s license approved for airline travel and/or a valid passport is ideal but not required.
- 5+ years of experience working on private aviation interiors is preferred.
- Self-motivated and able to perform in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable transportation to get to work each day.
- Follow all company and safety rules during the performance of duties.
- Maintain customer-oriented work habits.
- Able to assist in major modification work as needed.
Qualifications
- Basic computer skills to navigate electronic training materials, manuals, and maintenance databases.
- Physical ability to lift and carry at least 70 lbs.
- Routine walking, bending, squatting, or sitting.
- Work on elevated platforms (up to 40 feet in the air) using fall protection safety gear.
- Engage in routine or repetitive physical motions with arms and hands, emphasizing grasping, feeling, and finger dexterity.
- Stand for long periods.
- Climb ladders and stairs, working in small, restricted areas.
Skills
- Understanding and implementing regulations and guidelines, including but not limited to OSHA and Hazmat.
- Professionally working with others.
- Planning and organizing procedures and operations.
- Reading various reports and blueprints.

Pay
The hourly rate for this position generally ranges between $24.00 - $45.00. Actual hourly rate will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience and performance.
