About the role

This position is available as a Full-Time On-Site opportunity in Las Vegas, NV, USA.

Responsibilities

  • Remove and install carpeting, insulation, soundproofing, and fabric accessories.
  • Perform various parts replacement and repair tasks.
  • Install basic electrical systems.
  • Make minor modifications to panels, seats, carpets, cabinetry, upholstery, etc.
  • Measure, cut, and fit materials such as leather, fabric, and composites for refurbishments.
  • Aircraft detailing and cleaning.
  • Maintain and repair shop facility, equipment, and tooling.
  • Navigate electronic training materials, manuals, and maintenance databases.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the shop and surrounding areas.
  • Communicate effectively (speaking, writing, reading) in English.
  • Perform any other job-related duties as assigned by a supervisor or management.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • A valid driver's license approved for airline travel and/or a valid passport is ideal but not required.
  • 5+ years of experience working on private aviation interiors is preferred.
  • Self-motivated and able to perform in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reliable transportation to get to work each day.
  • Follow all company and safety rules during the performance of duties.
  • Work independently when required.
  • Attend work every day as scheduled, including overtime and weekend assignments.
  • Notify the supervisor in advance if you are unable to work.
  • Engage in routine or repetitive physical motions with arms and hands, emphasizing grasping, feeling, and finger dexterity.
  • Lift and carry at least 70 lbs.
  • Routine walking, bending, squatting, or sitting.
  • Work on elevated platforms (up to 40 feet in the air) using fall protection safety gear.
  • Stand for long periods.
  • Climb ladders and stairs, working in small, restricted areas.

Qualifications

  • Basic computer skills to navigate electronic training materials, manuals, and maintenance databases.
  • Physical ability to perform the essential functions of the job, including lifting and carrying up to 70 lbs.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with specific deadlines and time constraints.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Skills

  • Proficiency in basic mechanical tasks on aircraft interiors and related systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair damaged or worn interior components.
  • Knowledge of Federal Aviation Administration guidelines.
  • Understanding of OSHA and Hazmat regulations.
  • Ability to plan and organize procedures and operations.
  • Read various reports and blueprints.

Pay

The hourly rate for this position generally ranges between $25.00 - $40.00. Actual hourly rate will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience and performance.

Schedule

Varied positions in and around the aircraft. Equipment used includes personal hand tools, electrical power tools, sheet metal cutters, glue guns, metal benders, tugs, power carts, and other engine-powered equipment. Spray booth and all related equipment are also used.
