About the role
This position is available at one of our Fleet or Service Hubs and involves working on some of the most sophisticated private aircraft in the world.
Responsibilities
- Performing general mechanical tasks on aircraft interiors and related systems.
- Performing troubleshooting and repairs on damaged or worn interior components.
- Making minor modifications to panels, seats, carpets, cabinetry, upholstery, etc.
- Measuring, cutting, and fitting materials such as leather, fabric, and composites for interior refurbishments.
- Aiding in aircraft detailing and cleaning.
- Maintaining and repairing the shop facility, equipment, and tooling.
- Demonstrating basic computer skills to navigate electronic training materials, manuals, and maintenance databases.
- Ensuring cleanliness of the shop and surrounding areas.
- Working independently when required.
- Effectively and clearly communicating (i.e., speaking, writing, reading) in English.
- Performing any other job-related duties as assigned by a supervisor or management.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- A valid driver's license approved for airline travel and/or a valid passport is ideal but not required.
- 5+ years of experience working on private aviation interiors is preferred.
- Self-motivated and able to perform in a fast-paced environment where working under specific deadlines and time constraints will be common.
- Attend work every day as scheduled, including overtime and weekend assignments.
- Notify the supervisor in advance if you are unable to work.
- Have reliable transportation to get to work each day.
- Perform all work in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration guidelines.
- Follow all company and safety rules during the performance of duties.
- Maintain customer-oriented work habits.
- Assist in major modification work as needed.
Qualifications
- Basic computer skills to navigate electronic training materials, manuals, and maintenance databases.
- Physical requirements: lift and carry at least 70 lbs., routine walking, bending, squatting, or sitting, work on elevated platforms (up to 40 feet in the air) using fall protection safety gear, engage in routine or repetitive physical motions with arms and hands, emphasizing grasping, feeling, and finger dexterity, stand for long periods, climb ladders and stairs, work outside on the ramp on occasion, varied positions in and around the aircraft.
- Mental requirements: understand and implement regulations and guidelines, including but not limited to OSHA and Hazmat, professionally work with others, plan and organize procedures and operations, read various reports and blueprints.
Skills
- Basic mechanical skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair aircraft interiors.
- Proficiency in using personal hand tools, electrical power tools, sheet metal cutters, glue guns, and metal benders.
- Knowledge of spray booth and related equipment.

Pay
The hourly rate for this position generally ranges between $25.00 - $40.00. Actual hourly rate will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience and performance.
