Air Force Client Account Manager
About the role
We are currently seeking an experienced Client Account Manager (CAM) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate possesses 10+ years of related experience and wants to grow, collaborate, and innovate. In this position, the successful candidate will manage a portfolio of clients and projects at their respective sites across the United States and abroad. Projects will span across multiple markets and geographies affording opportunities for broadening knowledge and deepening skill sets related to design and construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement and manage the market in Air Force in order to grow future business and services.
- Work closely with the customer, be expert on their priorities and requirements and to build relationships as required.
- Serve as Business Development Lead for the assigned Air Force Program opportunities.
- Find, develop and lead strategic pursuits.
- Implement and manage the major components of our Air Force business line in order to promote future business and services.
- Work closely with the customer, know their mission and be familiar with their overall strategies, initiatives, developing programs, and priorities.
- Delivers oral and written presentations.
- Leads client interface on strategic projects or in resolution of technical and/or performance related problems.
- Develops and maintains positive customer and client relationships to foster repeat business.
- Determines resource and execution requirements to support client’s programs.
- Maintains resource allocation to maximize efficient and effective business development.
- Develops new approaches to advance techniques, tools and program management of business unit in order to meet the needs of the client.
- Advocates and encourages "lessons learned" and intelligence exchange within business units.
- Maintains performance of program managers' execution of client program within the business units.
- Offers mentoring and encouragement to individual team members with the goal of encouraging and maintaining team unity, harmony and overall efficiency.
- Delivers oral and written presentations.
- Led production of proposals, SOQ's and other marketing I promotion materials to build practice.
- May lead negotiations of fee offers, scopes of work, and contracts of work.
- Leads program team and facilitates the communication and interaction between organization and client.
- May consult on strategic projects or in resolution of technical and/or performance related problems.
- Develops and maintains positive customer and client relationships to foster repeat business.
- Adheres to company policies and procedures.
- Ability to work well within a team environment, positive attitude, multi-task, and self-motivated to produce high quality work.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management and 10+ years of related experience.
- The successful candidate has experience in executive communications, as they will be expected to keep internal and external stakeholders updated on their project's status, health, and risks as appropriate.
- The Client Manager will be expected to leverage the relationships cultivated with their clients to win follow-on work.
