Air Export Coordinator

About the role

OEC Group is a leading NVOCC freight forwarding company established in 1981. We offer a comprehensive range of logistics services including air and ocean freight, warehousing, distribution, customs brokerage, cargo insurance, and more.

Responsibilities

• Covers with airlines to book air export shipments
• Prepares shipping documents and tracks shipments
• Creates internal customer profiles in CargoWise
• Maintains communication with internal and external parties
• Generates and monitors daily reports
• Creates invoices for billing purposes
• Addresses internal and external inquiries
• Maintains knowledge of dangerous goods compliance
• Ensures shipments meet TSA regulations

Requirements

• Entry level candidates with a degree related to Supply Chain Management or International Business
• Air freight forwarding candidates with 1-5 years of experience
• Attention to detail, negotiation skills, and multi-tasking abilities

Qualifications

• Associate's degree preferred
• Six months to one year of related experience
• Experience with high volume data entry

Skills

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office

Pay

$55,000-$60,000 annually based on education and experience level.

Schedule

New York Office: 8:30 am – 5:30 pm EST
Air department: Rotational one Sunday per month
