About the role
The AI Search & Web Lead at Watershed is responsible for owning the end-to-end web infrastructure and ensuring the visibility of the company's content in an evolving web landscape. This role sits within Demand Generation and involves maintaining the current CMS, managing a web developer, and overseeing a part-time agency.
Responsibilities
- Owns the organic and AI-sourced pipeline, contributing MQL and pipeline growth through organic and AI search.
- Works across SEO, content infrastructure, and on-page optimization to increase inbound lead volume and quality.
- Tracks and improves LLM rankings and AEO / GEO visibility and citation rate.
- Runs a rigorous testing program to optimize conversion rates at every step, focusing on pipeline impact.
Requirements
- A proven track record in scaling organic growth and improving LLM visibility and citations.
- A strong understanding of scaling and improving website content and functionality using AI tools and models.
- Experience in building and running a testing program from day one, without needing to write all the code yourself.
- Adept at managing external vendors and developers while keeping up with the latest trends and technologies.
- Strong analytical skills; able to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Deep knowledge and fluency in AI tools and models, both as a growth channel and a productivity tool.
Qualifications
- Willingness to work from an office 4 days per week, except for remote roles.
