AI search & web lead

About the role

The AI Search & Web Lead will own the web infrastructure and long-term visibility of Watershed's website. This role sits within Demand Generation and is responsible for organic growth and AI-sourced pipeline contributions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the existing CMS and work with a web developer and part-time agency to optimize the website for organic growth.
• Collaborate with Content, Product Marketing, and Design to ensure the website content aligns with the brand and product direction.
• Set priorities, shape what gets built, and ensure the website reflects Watershed's evolving strategy.
• Grow inbound lead volume and quality through organic and AI search.
• Track and improve LLM rankings and AEO / GEO visibility.
• Run a rigorous testing program to improve conversion rates across the website and key organic/GEO channels.

Requirements

• A known playbook for scaling organic growth and improving LLM visibility and citations.
• A strong POV on scaling and improving website content and functionality using AI.
• Hands-on AB testing experience; capable of building and running a testing program independently.
• A strong ability to manage external vendors and developers without needing to write all the code yourself.
• Deep fluency in AI tools and models, both as a growth channel and a productivity tool.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to work from an office 4 days per week (except for remote roles).
• Watershed has hub offices in San Francisco, New York, London, and Mexico City, with satellite offices in Denver, Sydney, Paris, and Berlin.

Skills

• Experience with AI and LLM tools and models.
• Strong analytical skills to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Ability to manage external vendors and developers effectively.

Benefits

• Competitive compensation range of $175K - $195K.
