AI Governance Sr. Manager
Responsibilities
- Leading the development and implementation of governance frameworks to manage risks and maintain regulatory compliance for clients
- Providing strategic advice and solutions to help organizations navigate complex regulatory landscapes and enhance internal controls
- Overseeing the execution of compliance program implementations and policy reviews to mitigate risks effectively
- Directing teams through complex situations, demonstrating composure and sound judgment in ambiguous and challenging environments
- Crafting and conveying clear, impactful messages that tell a holistic story to clients and stakeholders
- Validating outcomes with clients, sharing alternative perspectives, and acting on client feedback to drive project success
- Applying systems thinking to identify and address underlying issues within client organizations
- Initiating open and honest coaching conversations to develop and sustain high-performing, diverse, and inclusive teams
- Conducting controls testing and compliance reviews to confirm adherence to regulatory standards and internal policies
- Utilizing analytical thinking for complex problem-solving in governance
- Managing C-Level presentations with clarity and influence
Requirements
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 6 years of experience
Qualifications
- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Business Administration/Management, Computer Science/Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Mathematics/Statistics, Project/Technology Management
- Experience in AI/ML governance, risk, controls, audit, testing, and validation, including awareness of AI lifecycles and leading risk frameworks such as NIST and ISO
- Design and assessment of AI governance models, policies, standards, and control programs, while translating technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
- Advanced skills in compliance program implementation and review
- Leading strategic questioning and storytelling to drive impactful decisions
- Utilizing analytical thinking for complex problem-solving in governance
- Managing C-Level presentations with clarity and influence
- Systems thinking to identify and address underlying issues
- Excelling in coaching and feedback to develop high-performing teams
Benefits
- The salary range for this position is: $119,000 - $299,930.
- For residents of Washington state the salary range for this position is: $119,000 - $337,000.
- Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
- All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
