AI Engineer - Manager

About the role

Seeking a Manager, AI Engineer to lead the design, development, and implementation of AI/ML solutions leveraging cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud. The role involves defining solution architectures that integrate large language models, generative AI, and traditional ML within enterprise environments, while emphasizing professionalism, integrity, and client relationship management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of AI/ML solutions on Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.
• Define solution architectures that integrate large language models, generative AI, and traditional machine learning within enterprise environments.
• Manage AI projects from architecture through testing, ensuring adherence to MLOps, security, and compliance standards.
• Translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Lead workshops with stakeholders, oversee deliverables, and mentor junior team members.
• Collaborate with strategic partners to incorporate the latest ecosystem innovations.
• Stay current with emerging AI technologies and evaluate their applicability.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of experience in AI/ML, data engineering, or cloud solution engineering.
• At least two years of experience in a leadership role.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Cloud AI/ML certifications are a plus.
• Proven track record of delivering enterprise‑scale AI/ML solutions, including integrations with core business systems.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Skills

• Hands‑on expertise in Python.
• Experience with APIs, microservices, containers, CI/CD, and MLOps frameworks.
• Experience in conversational AI, generative AI, and automation solutions.
• Knowledge of AI security, governance, and ethical frameworks.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and client‑facing skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to executives.
