AI Community Coordinator

About the role
The role is the execution engine for the client's enterprise AI adoption and engagement model. The AI Community Coordinator will own the participation infrastructure that converts individual AI interest into organizational behavior change by running the programs, platforms, and relationships that drive adoption.
Responsibilities
- Build and sustain the AI Ambassador Program by recruiting, onboarding, and developing a distributed network of AI Ambassadors.
- Maintain the Ambassador program structure, including roles, expectations, communication cadences, recognition, and escalation paths.
- Manage Communities of Practice (CoP) structure, membership, and communication to keep them active and growing.
- Create and distribute enablement content for Ambassadors, such as talking points, use case highlights, and facilitation guides.
- Document community patterns to surface themes, friction points, and emerging needs.
Requirements
Education: A bachelor's degree is required.
Experience: 3–5 years of experience in community management, program coordination, internal communications, employee engagement, or a comparable function. The candidate must have demonstrated experience running or managing a program with distributed participants.
Technical Skills
- Experience with AI tools such as CoPilot, ChatGPT, and Claude.
- Hands-on experience with at least one community or engagement platform (e.g., Viva Engage, Slack, Yammer, Teams communities).
- Familiarity with the Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Teams, Viva Engage, SharePoint).
Functional Skills
- A problem-solving, solutions-oriented, and consultative personality.
- Strong facilitation skills, with comfort leading sessions and managing energy in live and async environments.
- Genuine interest in AI adoption and personal AI fluency.
- Experience in the insurance, reinsurance, or MGA sector.
- Background in adult learning, organizational development, or behavioral change frameworks.

Pay
The pay is commensurate with experience.
Schedule
The schedule is hybrid onsite 2 days/week and onsite 3-4 days/week in Charlotte, NC. Length: 12 month contract with potential to extend or convert perm.
