About the Opportunity

The AI Capacity Operations Manager leads the strategy, execution, and operational management of AI model capacity programs across AI platforms. This role connects engineering, finance, capacity planning, product, sales, and operations teams to ensure AI capacity is deployed and scaled efficiently in alignment with customer demand and business priorities. The position transforms capacity management into a strategic capability that supports revenue growth, customer outcomes, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end AI model capacity programs, including demand management, prioritization, allocation, governance, and resource optimization.
  • Coordinate cross-functional execution with Engineering, Capacity Planning, Finance, Product, Data & AI Go-to-Market, and Shared Services teams.
  • Align capacity investments with business objectives, customer demand, and revenue opportunities.
  • Support long-term capacity planning based on market trends, customer needs, and growth requirements.
  • Develop and optimize operating rhythms, business processes, and governance frameworks.
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and drive process improvements and automation initiatives.
  • Ensure operational readiness and execution excellence across capacity management workflows.
  • Develop data-driven insights, forecasts, dashboards, and executive reporting to support business decisions.
  • Monitor program health, identify gaps, and recommend improvements.
  • Build strong partnerships across diverse teams and manage executive communications and stakeholder engagement.
  • Facilitate resolution of complex business challenges through effective communication, collaboration, and negotiation.
  • Establish governance, risk management, and compliance processes for capacity programs.
  • Lead program reviews and ensure progress toward strategic objectives.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks that could affect capacity availability and business performance.
  • Promote the organization’s culture and values through effective cross-functional leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or a related field, plus 4+ years of experience in program management, process management, process improvement, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Ability to meet specialized security screening requirements, including periodic background checks.
  • Experience leading complex cross-functional programs involving multiple organizations and executive stakeholders preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage ambiguity, prioritize competing demands, and execute effectively in dynamic environments.
  • Strong analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to build partnerships and influence decisions across organizational boundaries.
