You will build real tools that real people use daily, with immediate impact and rapid growth potential. The role offers high visibility to senior executives and the freedom to solve meaningful problems without bureaucracy. Your work will reach every corner of the company, driving real value and efficiencies.
Responsibilities
- Build AI-powered tools, dashboards, and automations to a working prototype at 95-99% completion, then hand off with clear documentation for security review and production deployment.
- Own design quality end-to-end, including usability, accessibility, and clean handoff documentation.
- Partner directly with operational, sales, and support teams to understand pain points and turn them into efficiencies.
- Collect feedback in real time, deliver solutions, measure impact, iterate, and improve.
- Operate self-sufficiently on technical fundamentals using AI tools.
- Deploy multiple tools into real use cases within the first six months, with measurable business results (e.g., time saved, efficiencies gained, or automation delivered).
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to build working software with modern AI tools (projects and portfolio matter more than years of experience).
- Technically self-sufficient with a thorough knowledge of fundamentals.
- Self-starting and relentlessly curious: identifies problems, learns unprompted, and brings ideas forward.
- Strong judgment on product design and usability with a focus on excellence.
- Bachelor's or master's in a technical field, or equivalent demonstrated ability/experience.
- Preferred: exposure to LLMs, AI agents, data/SQL, and/or logistics/operations.
- Full-time, on-site position located in Reno, NV (Lake Tahoe nearby, close to the Bay Area, and no state income tax).
Mindset
The ideal candidate is honest, adaptable, and committed, with a sense of urgency to build and deliver in a fast-moving, industry-leading environment.
