About the Role

This is a ground-floor opportunity on a new AI team, offering a path to build AI solutions at enterprise scale. You will develop tools used daily across a $6B business, with direct visibility to senior leadership and no limit on growth potential. The Associate role is a starting point—advancement to AI Builder is earned by shipping products and developing enterprise judgment. You will:

• Build AI-powered tools and automations alongside the business users who will use them.
• Own the quality of your work, including usability and documentation.
• Learn and adhere to enterprise standards for architecture, security, and design.
• Partner directly with floor teams to identify real pain points.
• Contribute to the ROI case for your projects and understand what makes a build worthwhile.
• Ship quickly and iterate based on real feedback—you should be building in your first week.

Requirements

• Experience building working software with modern AI tools (projects and portfolio matter more than years of experience).
• Technical self-sufficiency in fundamentals—you solve problems independently.
• Technical foundation in computer science or equivalent.
• Exposure to LLMs, agents, retrieval systems, or data and SQL.
• Awareness of security fundamentals and the judgment to ask before risky actions with data or access.
• Design instinct—you care about usability and whether your product is actually useful.
• Self-starting, relentlessly curious, and proactive in learning.
• Curiosity about the business and how work gets done.

Location & Schedule

This is a full-time, on-site role in Reno, NV. Reno offers proximity to Lake Tahoe, close access to the Bay Area, and no state income tax.
