About the role

This is an uncommon opportunity for an early-career builder who already uses AI as a native part of how they think and work. You will identify repetitive or error-prone business processes, break problems down, and rapidly create apps, scripts, agents, and automations that people actually use. Credentials matter less than evidence: what you have built, how you approached the problem, what failed, and how you improved it.

What You'll Do

• Turn well-scoped business problems into working prototypes quickly, then improve them through real user feedback.
• Build apps, scripts, agents, integrations, and automations that reduce manual work and move into production use.
• Observe operating workflows and identify high-frequency, unglamorous tasks where a small automation can create meaningful value.
• Connect AI to the tools teams already use so solutions simplify work instead of creating additional steps.
• Evaluate model output, create practical evaluations, identify failure modes, and design safeguards appropriate to the use case.
• Teach colleagues and end users how to use AI more effectively and communicate clearly what new models and tools make possible.
• Test emerging tools and models with disciplined curiosity; share useful findings without chasing novelty for its own sake.
• Leave behind concise documentation, reusable components, and clear handoffs so others can maintain and extend the work.

Required

• A portfolio containing at least two things you have built with AI—apps, scripts, agents, automations, or tools. This is the most important qualification.
• Hands-on use of LLM APIs beyond a browser chat interface, including programmatic prompts and at least one multi-step workflow.
• Working coding ability in at least one programming language; Python or TypeScript preferred.
• Strong problem decomposition and first-principles process thinking; you ask why a workflow exists before automating it.
• A verification mindset: you check outputs, investigate failures, and improve systems rather than treating model responses as authoritative.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication, strong business acumen, and the maturity to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• High initiative, curiosity, urgency, and evidence that you pursue difficult work without needing close supervision.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability and willingness to travel as needed.

Highly Valued

• A multi-step agent or workflow built with LangGraph, LangChain, CrewAI, a model SDK, or custom orchestration.
• Knowledge of a second domain such as finance, accounting, healthcare, design, operations, or data.
• A public artifact others use, substantive technical writing, or a channel where you share what you learn.
• A personal automation or side project that demonstrates genuine enthusiasm for deploying AI.

This Role Is—and Is Not

• Hands-on: You will build, test, deploy, and improve solutions that reach real users and create measurable business value.
• Not a research role: This is not a research-focused position, consulting-only role, or prototyping environment where demos stop before adoption.
• High autonomy: This role is designed for someone who moves quickly, communicates clearly, and takes ownership from initial idea through implementation.
