About the role
The ideal candidate will be a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Radiation Oncologist with a subspecialty interest in breast, gastrointestinal, and central nervous system malignancies. Experience or interest in gynecologic HDR brachytherapy for backup coverage is preferable but not mandatory.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, evidence-based care to patients with cancer
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Participate in clinical research and contribute to advancements in cancer care
- Teach and mentor residents, fellows, and medical students
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of a positive, supportive work environment
Requirements
- Current Medical License in good standing with the state of Kansas
- Completion of an ABR-accredited Radiation Oncology residency program
- Subspecialty training in breast, gastrointestinal, and/or central nervous system malignancies preferred
- Experience with MRI-Linac technology and gynecologic HDR brachytherapy is desirable
