AHMG Psychiatry at Innovation Tower Orlando Full-time as an outpatient Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) OR (LCSW)

Essential Functions This provider will provide therapeutic interventions, counseling, and support to clients with diverse backgrounds facing a wide range of mental health challenges. The LMHC or LCSW works collaboratively with physicians and other members of the interdisciplinary care team and is responsible for: Providing evidence-based psychotherapy and counseling to patients experiencing the emotional and psychosocial impact of a cancer diagnosis. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team (primary care, psychiatrist, other team members) to ensure coordinated care and treatment continuityAdvocate for clients’ rights and access to resources, facilitating referrals to community sources and support services as neededDocumenting in a timely and thorough manner Knowledge And Skills Required Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish rapport with clients from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgroundsAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with care teamCommitment to ethical practice, confidentiality, and professional integrityStrong communication skillsStrong medical decision-making skillsDisplaying a caring and professional attitude at all times Schedule Details Schedule Details: Monday – Friday Required Education & Experience Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or Mental Health Counseling (LMHC) Licensure, Certification, Registration Current, valid Florida LCSW or LMHC licenseBLS
