About the role

Responsible for operating various agricultural equipment to perform tasks such as planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractors, combines, planters, and other agricultural machinery safely and efficiently.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Participate in regular maintenance checks on equipment to prevent breakdowns.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and resolve issues.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record.
• At least 2 years of related experience in agriculture or similar field.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate heavy machinery.
• Knowledge of basic agricultural practices and equipment operation.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in using GPS and farm management software.
• Experience with precision farming techniques.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Skills

• Proficient in operating tractors, combines, planters, and other agricultural machinery.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office.

Pay

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, with occasional overtime as needed.
