About the role

Responsible for maintaining and repairing various farm equipment including tractors, harvesters, and other machinery.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on farm equipment
• Perform routine maintenance checks to prevent breakdowns
• Work closely with farmers to understand their needs and provide solutions
• Keep up-to-date with new technologies and industry standards

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in farm equipment mechanics or related field
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate heavy machinery
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Some college coursework in agriculture or mechanical engineering preferred

Skills

• Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
• Knowledge of agricultural machinery and its components
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
