About the role
Responsible for maintaining and repairing various farm equipment including tractors, harvesters, and other machinery.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on farm equipment
- Perform routine maintenance checks to prevent breakdowns
- Work closely with farmers to understand their needs and provide solutions
- Keep up-to-date with new technologies and industry standards
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in farm equipment mechanics or related field
- Valid driver's license and ability to operate heavy machinery
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Some college coursework in agriculture or mechanical engineering preferred
Skills
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Knowledge of agricultural machinery and its components
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
