Farm Equipment Mechanic II
About the role
The Farm Equipment Mechanic II will be responsible for repairing and maintaining our equipment fleet, including but not limited to tractors and other farming equipment. Typical work hours are Monday - Friday 7 am to 4 pm with some opportunities to work additional hours/weekends. This is a full-time, benefits eligible position including 401K, vacation, sick, holiday pay, health and welfare benefits and so much more.
Responsibilities
- Repair and maintain equipment fleet, including tractors and other farming equipment
- Perform electrical repairs, diagnose motor and wiring issues
- Diagnose and repair small engines
- Weld and fabricate as needed
- Complete work orders daily
- Respond to field requests to diagnose equipment
Requirements
- Diesel and hydraulics knowledge
- Electrical knowledge
- Small engine knowledge
- Welding and Fabrications experience
- Valid driver's license and some local travel will be required
Qualifications
- Experience as a Farm Equipment Mechanic I
- Ability to respond to field requests to diagnose equipment
- Must have their own tools
