Agile Coach

About the role

We're looking for an experienced Agile Coach and enterprise transformation leader to help advance Lean-Agile maturity across teams, programs and organizational leadership. This role has two complementary focuses: 50% SAFe Training & Coaching — helping teams and leaders understand and apply SAFe 6, Scrum, Kanban and Lean-Agile practices while supporting Value Streams, ART launches and continuous improvement. 50% Enterprise Agile Coaching — coaching software-development teams, influencing leadership, improving enterprise Agile practices and helping drive organization-wide product and Lean-Agile transformation. Position is hybrid, based in Reston, VA / Washington, DC, and is a 12+ month contract‑to‑hire opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Train teams and leadership on SAFe 6.
• Coach teams on SAFe, Scrum, Kanban and Lean-Agile practices.
• Support ART preparation, launches, execution and continuous improvement.
• Help teams improve predictability, productivity, quality and flow.
• Coach teams toward greater transparency, empowerment and continuous learning.
• Develop and improve Lean-Agile metrics and practices.
• Support enterprise Agile transformation strategy and roadmaps.
• Coach stakeholders and leaders at multiple organizational levels.
• Identify enterprise-level blockers affecting value flow and business agility.
• Coach Scrum software-development teams.
• Improve Agile training materials and organizational practices.
• Require flexibility for onsite training, coaching and planning sessions in Reston and Washington, DC, including at least quarterly PI Planning and leadership meetings as needed.

Requirements

• SPC Level 6 certification.
• 10+ years of professional Lean/Agile experience.
• 5+ years as an Agile Coach.
• 5+ years training/coaching teams and leadership on SAFe.
• Experience with SAFe for Teams, SAFe for Leadership and SAFe for Scrum Masters.
• Large-scale Agile transformation experience.
• Enterprise Agile coaching experience across multiple product streams.
• Digital product experience.
• Strong stakeholder and leadership coaching skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or qualifying additional relevant experience.
• U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder.

Pay
