About the role

The Agency Relations Coordinator strengthens relationships between the food bank and its agency partner network across Benton, Carroll, Madison, and Washington Counties. This position supports agency compliance, training, onboarding, capacity building, communication, and overall partner engagement to ensure equitable, efficient, and neighbor-focused food distribution. The coordinator serves as the primary liaison, helping agencies maintain compliance with Feeding America, USDA, and Northwest Arkansas Food Bank standards while supporting growth, innovation, and improved neighbor experience throughout the network.

About us

Northwest Arkansas Food Bank, one of six Feeding America Food Banks in Arkansas, has nourished NWA communities since 1988. We distribute healthy food to kitchen tables as quickly as possible, currently partnering with over 110 agencies—including food pantries, soup kitchens, and shelters. In 2023, we distributed more than 14 million pounds of food to those in need through agency partners, Feed Rogers, and Mobile and School Pantries. Our mission is to combat food insecurity while building strong relationships with businesses, nonprofits, and community partners who share our vision of ending hunger in Northwest Arkansas.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary liaison between the food bank and partner agencies.
  • Support agency compliance with Feeding America, USDA, and Northwest Arkansas Food Bank standards.
  • Facilitate agency training, onboarding, and capacity-building initiatives.
  • Enhance communication and engagement with partner agencies to improve food distribution efficiency and equity.
  • Promote innovation and growth within the agency network to improve neighbor experience.

Requirements
