Agency Event Director

About the role

The Director of Events is the operational leader of Cloth & Flame’s events department, responsible for delivering exceptional events while building the systems, team, and processes that allow the agency to grow. This is a hands-on, player-coach role. At our current size, this person will personally produce many of our events while overseeing the department, with the role evolving toward greater team leadership and operational management as we grow. The Director works closely with sales, creative, design, production, culinary, and accounting to ensure what we sell is achievable, appropriately priced, and delivered to the highest standard.

• Event Production & Client Management: Lead and participate in client calls, planning meetings, site visits, and final details calls; Oversee concurrent events as volume fluctuates, assigning event producers, internal support and freelance resources based on program needs; Serve as event producer on assigned programs, managing projects from sales handoff through final reconciliation.
