AG/ Commercial Lender

About the Role

Independence Bank is seeking an outgoing AG/Commercial Lender to join our Plentywood branch. We focus on serving the people of our communities, prioritizing the needs of families, farmers, and businesses. This role involves administering equal credit opportunity lending activities while maintaining consistent underwriting standards and minimizing loan portfolio losses.

Responsibilities

• Process and underwrite loans and lines of credit with the lowest risk possible to the Bank.
• Complete and present loan authorization request forms that are adequately supported for submission to the appropriate In-house committee.
• Maintain credit files, including underwriting and compliance for individual loans.
• Collect and restructure current and/or problem loans as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field; three to five years of previous banking experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
• An agricultural (AG) background is preferred.
• Must live in or relocate to Plentywood.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
