Afternoon Babysitter for Elementary Child

About the role

We are a busy family in Washington, DC seeking an afternoon babysitter to assist with our 6-year-old child. The role requires a responsible and caring individual who can help our child stay organized and engaged through various activities. You will not be required to provide transportation, meal preparation, or bedtime routines.

The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, and enjoys working with children.

This part-time position is available from late August 2026 through the end of June 2027, with a commitment to maintaining a consistent schedule.

Responsibilities

• Providing a safe and nurturing environment for our child
• Engaging the child in educational and recreational activities
• Assisting with any light organizational tasks for the child

Requirements

• Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
• A responsible, caring, and organized individual
• Must be comfortable in child-focused environments
