Afternoon Babysitter for Elementary Age Child

About the Role

We are seeking a responsible and engaging part-time babysitter for our 8-year-old son in NE Capitol Hill, Washington, DC. The position involves approximately 12-15 hours per week, primarily focused on after-school care.

Responsibilities

• Pick up our son from Mundo Verde Cook Campus in Shaw at 3:30 pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, and at 1:00 pm on Wednesdays.
• Engage with our son through homework, reading, sports, and outdoor activities until we return from work around 5:30 pm to 6:00 pm.

Schedule

Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays: 3:30 pm - 5:30/6:00 pm
Wednesdays: 1:00 pm - 5:30/6:00 pm
Additional hours may be available for evening or weekend shifts upon agreement.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in childcare or babysitting.
• Interest in children's education and activities.
• Friendly, nurturing demeanor.

Pay

$20+/hour, based on experience.
