About the role
The Aftermarket Product Analyst will develop and implement strategic plans for a defined set of parts, assist in go-to-market strategies, and manage the product lifecycle for Aftermarket parts and products.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain go-to-market strategies for part groups.
- Coordinate the product development process for the Aftermarket.
- Align product marketing goals with Aftermarket goals.
- Support the Aftermarket team in coordinating the product development process.
- Identify the product lifecycle approach for products.
- Participate in the new product development process, providing leadership for the Aftermarket team.
- Develop strategies to expand the product portfolio offering for the Aftermarket.
- Work with the Aftermarket teams to apply an overall marketing strategy for the product offered to the market.
- Ensure an aligned market approach for product with the product lifecycle management market approach.
- Create value-added promotions and establish branding requirements for products.
- Work with the Global Procurement Supply Chain (GPSC) buyers to develop a source-to-market strategy to maximize profit.
- Present strategies to Senior Management for Aftermarket.
- Collaborate with the pricing team to identify pricing strategies to support the product go-to-market strategies in alignment with Aftermarket goals.
- Contribute to product planning through the demand forecasting effort.
- Evaluate sales trends, market conditions, customer perspectives, and competitors, and obtain sales team input to develop expected sale levels by commodity groups and the competitive landscape.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and two (2) or more years of relevant experience in marketing, business, engineering, or product marketing (equivalent to eight (8) years total in education and experience).
- Standout qualifications include project management experience, aftermarket experience, business to business (B2B) marketing experience, and a master’s degree in business administration.
