About the Role

Advise leading global manufacturing clients (industrial, aerospace, automotive) on service parts planning, smart warehousing, supply chain cost optimization, and related areas. Work in consulting assignments at client locations, lead work-streams, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement end-to-end solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Guide clients on service parts planning, including demand, supply, inventory, and distribution requirement planning.
  • Consult on smart warehousing, SBOM, parts catalog, inventory reduction, supplier collaboration, network modeling, and IT product evaluation.
  • Own and lead work-streams or entire consulting assignments.
  • Collaborate with site/regional supply chain teams to analyze and design service parts supply chain planning requirements.
  • Work with integration and ERP teams to implement solutions.
  • Provide domain expertise for solution development on key technologies (e.g., PTC SPM, Inservice, Servigistics, Windchill SIM, Syncron, Baxter Planning, Kinaxis, Blueyonder, O9, JDA, Manhattan WMS, SAP SPP/EWM, Oracle, PIM).
  • Support practice building through thought leadership, go-to-market assets, and solution accelerators.
  • Engage in pre-sales activities to identify and convert business consulting and IT implementation opportunities.
  • Identify opportunities through client relationships and TCS ecosystem connections.
  • Contribute to and own RFP responses.
  • Track emerging business models and trends in manufacturing.
  • Build industry connections, speak at forums, and publish thought leadership articles.

Requirements

  • Graduate or postgraduate degree in Engineering or Sciences with a specialization in Statistics, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in service parts supply chain, including planning, inventory optimization, and warehouse management solutions in manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of enterprise systems such as SPM, SPP, SBOM, Parts Catalog, Warehousing Systems, and PIM.
  • Experience with outcome-centric models is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Servitization, Field Service Management, scheduling, maintenance, repairs, contracts, Service BOM, MRO, Service Analytics, Depot Repair, Warranty, Service/Aftermarket Parts, AR/VR, IoT, and Service System Integration is a plus.
  • Ability to lead teams implementing developed solutions.

Pay

$120,000 to $140,000 per annum.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Computer Science or equivalent degree in Engineering or Sciences with a relevant specialization.
